Following the discussion at the AGM and the meeting held afterwards at the end of January 2009 concerning Routemaster spare parts and their availability we quickly identified a few items that require urgent attention. These are as follows:
- Engine mounts
- Luggage racks for RMC, RCL and RMA types
- Original style indicator lenses, front and rear
- Complete indicator ears – the rotating mounting is unavailable
- Scania engine hoses
- Cab switches
We are now prioritising our attentions at solving these problem areas and if any members can assist or know or any supplies of any of the above, then please contact a member of the Committee.
The first item to be investigated is the engine mounts, and as detailed in the current magazine (Spring 2009) we have been quoted various prices. We shall keep investigating and hope to update in the next magazine and in due course on this website.
