The sight of 3 open-top Routemasters crammed with people and thronged by well-wishers is indeed a stirring spectacle!
The New Year 2010 issue of the Association magazine tells the story of how the triumphant Brawn Formula 1 team were given a hero's reception, as they toured the company's home town of Brackley, Northants. Brawn having won the 2009 Formula 1 Constructor's title, and their driver Jenson Button, winning the coveted driver's championship.
Packing the top decks of RM 1403, RM 450 and RM 479, the workers from the Brawn factory were splendidly conveyed to a Civic Reception in Brackley town centre.
