Spring Routemaster Magazine

The latest Routemaster Magazine, is number 93 the Spring issue, has now been sent out to all current members.

As well as the usual Routemaster Roundup, the magazine includes the following:

- The latest Association News, including the latest news on parts being stocked and overhauled by the Association, our website and online news, the new variant of the RML50 model which is now available, and the latest Event News which includes three events in 2013 where the Routemaster Association will be supporting. The Sales News includes the results of the parts survey which was undertaken at the recent AGM.

- London LEZ News

- Rocky the Routemaster’s Mammoth Adventure

- Leyland Engined Routemaster Vehicles in the UK Revisited

- Photographs of RM1 in service from the late 1950’s.

- News from the FBHVC. (Note their new logo on the front cover of our Magazine)

- The second in our series of illustrated articles on Corrosion to be found in Routemasters, with this one looking at timber in the bodywork

- The Suppliers Corner features parts now available from the Squirrel Preservation and from ARE Limited.

- The Minutes from the recent Annual General Meeting, together with the 2011/2012 accounts.

- Numerous colour photographs, including RML2502 prior to its recent sale, RM2133 in Vancouver, and RML2300 the Chudbus in Northamptonshire.

- And lastly, an experimental full colour photo spread which can even be made into a poster.

The next Association Magazine will be available in June 2013, so please send in your articles or other items for inclusion as soon as possible.
